It’s a good start (and would be perfect if so many previous versions hadn’t used the silly larger pixels in the first place), but in my opinion they could have done more.

The Inkscape team has done a wonderful job making Inkscape a true competitor to Adobe Illustrator. The new Inkscape is a much improved and streamlined version of the older Inkscape. Inkscape is an open source vector graphics editor, sort of similar to Corel Draw in the way that Illustrator is to the older Illustrator. Inkscape works with Adobe Illustrator’s vector format, SVG.
